Our wool is mixed, mostly Shetland, Texel and Soay, and spun in small batches at Curlew Weavers, processed using only water rather than the standard acid treatment.
Wool is DK weight. The colour is an off-white, cream.
Size needed to give the correct tension is 22 sts and 28-30 rows to 10cm using 4mm needles.
Weight of hanks are approx 100g. Length of hanks are approximately 250 meters.
