Tools making workshop for spoon carvers Sunday 25th May 2025 9.30 - 5pm
This day's course is meant for all who attended one of Udo's spoon carving courses, or who are interested in building/creating their own knife-/axe carving equipment.
Udo will teach you how to make:
A self made carving knife (straight knife)
A simple tripod stand for axing work,
A hook knife sharpening stick with 3 different grits.
A leather strop.
A glass of beeswax salve – we’ll prepare this in the course.
The material costs of the course are £35, please pay this cash on the day of the course.
All materials, including a knife blade from “beaver craft” available in 2 lengths. You’ll carve your own knife handle, according to the needs of your hand.
Tea, coffee and snacks are there, please bring your own lunch.
