How to spin yarns for complete beginners. Tuesdays from 1.30 - 3.30pm starting on the 6th of Feb. 'til the 27th.

Starting with how to prepare your fibres, through using a Mayan spindle to getting on to a wheel and how to ply. This will be a small group and so the lessons will be tailored to the needs of the individuals in the group, giving you each some tailored support and tuition in the area you are needing most. Could touch on advanced techniques if appropriate.

All materials needed are included, however if you have your own fibres which you’d like to learn how to work with, please do bring them along. Please bring your spinning wheels and carders if you have them. Wheels can be hired for the duration of the course if needed. This will allow you to see if spinning is for you without needing to fork out initially for a wheel.
