An introduction to botanical printing (also called Eco printing)
Come along and learn what to do with leaves and flowers with steam to create crisp and clear colourful prints on paper and fabric. There will be some gathering of plants from the dye garden as part of the day so please wear suitable footwear for a possibly wet field. You will leave with oodles about plants, the dye process and hints and tips for future printing experiments at home.
Your work could be for art, cards, textile projects like cushion covers, bags and lampshades or you could even make a silk scarf.
