Wool and textiles weekend 23rd - 26th May 2024

Arriving Thursday 5pm. We start with an evening meal together (we will prepare a wee feast for you all - please let us know of any dietary requirements) Please bring food to share for our other meals if you’d like to. Leaving time of around 2pm on Sunday.

You will be staying in one of our accommodations on the willow field - Shepherd hut, Gypsy wagon, Octagonal cabin or Caravan.

If you have a camper van or would like to stay in a tent or find your own accommodation or live nearby, we can arrange the course fee accordingly. Please just call us on 01309675052 to book the course if this is what you’d like to do.

This will be suitable for beginners and improvers for those wanting to expand their experience and knowledge in textile skills.

There are various bigger than usual projects which could be made during this weekend (which there wouldn’t be time for on a 1 day course). Options include: Felted wall art, tufted vegetarian sheepskin rugs, felted hats, bags, slipper boots, natural dyes, tapestry weaving, how to spin,…… Amy will guide you through the making process to help you to realise your dreams.
