Community Projects and Commissions
Community projects. We work together with community groups on projects such as living willow and playground structures. We can provide artist in residency projects in willow weaving and textile arts, bringing all the materials and equipment needed to your site base. We have a broad experience base between us and are happy to adapt courses to suit the needs of your group.
Commissions. It is possible to make anything you dream of in willow or textiles. We have created all manner of wonderful objects of practical and artistic nature to suit unusual spaces and needs. We would be happy to discuss your requirements, please just get in touch.

“For two years, Karen has run week long willow weaving workshops in the community woodland at Milton Loch, Boat of Garten. She has been our artist in residence, helping locals and visitors to create willow sculptures that enhance the natural environment. But it has been about more than making a piece of art. People have had opportunities to work outdoors, chat to others or sit in silence, learn a new skill, develop an artistic side, bond with others, appreciate the area where they live or simply to do something difference”. Said Kate from Boat of Garten Wildlife Group.
